DJ Mad-Em’s passion is Music and DJing, which has been crafted over THE PAST 25+ years .
Originally beginning my musical journey on vinyl, I would mix anything within the house genres. During covid I picked up my love of mixing, deciding to embrace digital. This started my journey becoming more of a multi-genre DJ. My catalogue of music expanded to as many genres/sounds from - Afropop to Indie, Chilled-House, Brokenbeat-Jazz and everything in-between.
I love researching, discovering music and the thrill of new sounds, regularly practising and developing new skills to improve my craft, switching between vinyl and digital. Since picking back up the headphones with the aim of playing out, I have DJed at various private parties, playing for different local promoters- HIIT The Decks and Only APPY People also creating my own event that's runs with the change of each season where I play Soul, Funk, Disco-Nu-disco and House.
I have been at David Lloyds Gym in Sidcup DJing for three years, where I play once a month in the main gym, mixing House music and its many Subgenres to create an ambiance that inspires the gym goers to push their limits whilst ALSO enjoying their fitness journey. I DJ for their in house events; whether it's for their summer POOL PARTIES, creating that summer vibe, or for any of their special events for staff or guests. A new experience was to work alongside with Hutures, to curate/mix MUSIC for event which explored our nervous system and how Music/Dance affects our brain.

2026 I am looking forward to playing my first festival in over 20 years for -Only APPY People- Carry On Glamping @Bluebell Coppice Park
