I’m Melody Kane, an internationally experienced open-format DJ with over 20 years behind the decks.
I’ve built my career playing everywhere from intimate private events and London clubs to major festivals, arenas and some of the biggest venues around the world. My festival credits include Glastonbury, Wireless, Reading & Leeds, Lovebox and 51st State to name but a few, while internationally I’ve played across Europe, Africa, North America, the Middle East and Asia including iconic Ibiza venues Pacha, Amnesia and DC-10.
My brand clients include Nike, Adidas, HOKA, On, Beats, Google, Amazon, Louis Vuitton, Nandos and MOBOs amongst many others.
I’ve been an official DJ for Jay Sean, Lady Leshurr, Misha B and M.O and I’m the long-term official DJ for Kele Le Roc. Throughout my career I’ve also worked alongside and shared stages and line-ups with artists including Drake, Nas, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Beenie Man, Mavado, A$AP Rocky, Giggs & Nile Rodgers — just a small selection of the many artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
My broadcasting experience includes BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, KISS and Boiler Room and I currently hold a weekly Wednesday residency at Sheesh Mayfair alongside Kele Le Roc.
What really sets me apart is my versatility and my ability to read a crowd.
I’m genuinely open format and confidently play across House, R&B, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Reggae, UK Garage, Disco, Funk, Soul, Pop and party classics. I don’t believe in playing the same pre-planned set to every audience. I read the room, adapt quickly and know how to build and control the energy of a dancefloor.
I’m also a confident and experienced host and mic user, so when a booking needs more than just a DJ I’m completely comfortable engaging with guests, making announcements and helping drive the event.
Whether it’s a club, corporate event, luxury brand activation, festival, wedding, private party or residency, I bring the same thing every time: experience, professionalism, personality, great music and the ability to make a room come alive.
